Before opening to traffic, access roads are needed to promote agricultural machinery, and arable land is also required to have the conditions for mechanical operation. Therefore, Taicang takes the construction of high standard farmland as the basic project of 20 modern agricultural parks and the city's agricultural development. Yalu village in Huangjing modern agricultural park is equipped with advanced rice processing equipment in addition to the mechanization of planting links, which ensures the quality of rice in the last link through 13 processes.

Moreover, rice and wheat straw has also realized the mechanization from field packaging to feed production. At present, only Donglin village feed processing plant can convert 50% of the city's rice straw into feed, which not only enriches the connotation of agricultural mechanization, but also promotes the development of agricultural ecological cycle.

At the same time, Taicang City is also exploring the mechanized production of vegetables in the agricultural park. Taicang Huangjing modern agricultural park, which takes vegetable planting as the leading industry, has been equipped with mechanical equipment such as sowing and seedling raising machine, packaging machine, vine (straw) crusher, vegetable transplanter, harvester, ridging and film covering machine, and has built a clean vegetable processing production line. "The greenhouses built in our park cover an area of 30 mu each, which provides enough space for mechanical operation. Diversifying management and enhancing agricultural soft power

Yalu village took the lead in the exploration and practice of establishing cooperative farms in the city around 2010. In May 2010, Taicang City selected Donglin, power station in Chengxiang Town, Banjing, Shaxi Town and other villages as municipal pilot villages, and the first batch of village level cooperative farms in the city began to be established. In June 2010, the first village level cooperative farm in Taicang was born in Donglin village. At present, 85% of the land has been transferred to village collectives in the construction of the park.
