Tongli science and technology agricultural demonstration park is located in the northeast of Tongli town. The whole area involves five administrative villages, beilian, Sangang, Hexin, Xiaodian lake and BAIXIAN lake, 123 villagers' groups, 3425 farmers, 10305 people, with a regional area of 29.8 square kilometers and a cultivated land area of 30012 mu. The whole area has unique advantages in developing modern agriculture.
1. Superior traffic location. The park is located in the northeast of Wujiang City, bordering Suzhou Industrial Park in the north, 80km away from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport in the East, 318 National Highway and Shanghai Jiangsu Zhejiang Expressway in the south, Sujiahang Expressway in the West and 18km away from Suzhou in the north. It has superior location and convenient transportation.
2. Good industrial foundation. With dense water networks, numerous rivers, low and flat terrain, four distinct seasons, mild climate and abundant rainfall, the park is suitable for planting high-quality Cereals, oils, vegetables, forest fruits and other crops, and has superior conditions to promote agricultural industrialization.
3. Rich landscape resources. With a long history of more than 1000 years, Tongli is a well-known historical and cultural town and tourist attraction. In Tongli scenic area, there are a series of scenic spots such as world cultural heritage retreat garden, three bridges and two halls, and Xiaodian Lake Wetland Park, a large plain forest in the Yangtze River Delta. 2、 Industrial characteristics
1. Existing industry
(1) High quality rice. There are 10500 mu of rice in the park, including 1500 mu of core demonstration party, 1000 mu of organic rice and 500 mu of fine rice varieties.
(2) Facility agriculture. The park has built a facility agriculture area of 500 mu, undertaking the task of high-efficiency agricultural production, mainly planting grapes, Cuiguan Pears, watermelon, flowers and other high-efficiency crops.
(3) Efficient vegetables. There are 500 mu of aquatic vegetables in the park, mainly including Zizania latifolia, celery, Ulva, Euryale ferox, rhombola, lotus root, water chestnut, taro, etc.
(4) Special aquatic products. There are 1000 mu of core demonstration high standard aquaculture in the park. Green and pollution-free aquaculture is carried out by using the water resources and ecological isolation conditions in the park. The varieties of aquatic products are mainly special aquatic products such as shrimp, crab, forest frog and new fish.
(5) Agricultural tourism. There are 2000 mu of Xiaodian Lake Forest Park, 2000 mu of water surface, forest and wetland in the park. At present, various facilities for leisure and sightseeing are being built in sections.
2. Basic conditions
(1) The science and technology agriculture demonstration park has begun to take shape. Since July 2007, we have started the construction of the two core villages of beilian and Sangang involved in the park planning. The total planned construction area of this area is 15445 mu, which is divided into three functional areas, namely 8000 mu high-quality grain and oil production area and 3000 mu high-efficiency cash crop cultivation area (including 1000 mu of facility cultivation), 3000 mu of special aquaculture area and 320 mu of aquatic vegetable area (Jiangsu pollution-free vegetable base) will be completed by 2010. At present, 5300 mu of land has been transferred in the park, 3000 mu of core area of phase I project has been completed, and 1000 mu of facility agriculture area is under construction. The park has invested nearly 30 million yuan, and the whole science and technology agriculture demonstration park has begun to take shape.
(2) Xiaodian Lake Forest Park has been upgraded. Xiaodian lake forest, covering an area of 4000 mu in the east of Tongli Town, is the only plain forest in the Yangtze River Delta. The lake outside the park is enchanting, the water and land in the park complement each other, and there are rich ecological diversity and species. In 1998, Xiaodian lake forest was approved as a provincial forest park, won the title of national agricultural tourism demonstration site in 2008, and was listed as a national agricultural tourism demonstration site in January 2009 The Wetland Park in Jiangsu Province has been upgraded and expanded, and the planned wetland area has reached 690 hectares. Since 2008, we have accelerated the development and construction of Xiaodian Lake wetland. (3) The expansion of eco-tourism space has been accelerated. In early April 2009, we successfully held the first rape flower festival in Tongli, China (beilian) in 2009. The magnificent scenery of thousands of mu of rape flowers has become the highlight of Tongli spring tourism in 2009.

4、 Construction objectives

2. Specific objectives

1. With the support of urban-rural integration reform, accelerate the infrastructure construction of science and technology agricultural demonstration park. Tongli town is the leading area for supporting reform of urban-rural integration established by Suzhou. So far, 80 million yuan has been invested, including 30 million yuan in Tongli science and technology agricultural demonstration park, 50 million yuan in Xiaodian Lake wetland forest park, and another 1.03 billion yuan is planned, including 530 million yuan in Tongli science and technology agricultural demonstration park and 500 million yuan in Xiaodian Lake Forest Wetland Park, First, accelerate investment attraction.
